Vox Organi by KATTA: Album Review
“Vox Organi” by KATTA is a spiritual album represented by meditative sounds from the organ. KATTA creates beautiful sounds from the instrument and generates a sonic world we all want to be a part of. From drone-like segments to more cinematic pieces, this record shall take you on an audio journey you’ll remember for a lifetime.
“Meditace” is one such track from the entire album that gives you an idea on the kinda music KATTA creates. So much so, that four parts of this track stunningly shape classical organ pieces into a wholesome cadence, that you’ll find pretty intriguing. The thrill comes from hearing the length of the gospel and classical genre, as depicted from the mind of a visionary artist. It’s a masterpiece at work, and each track has a different flow. Ranging from ambient portions to more expansive rhythms, the songs differ from each other, yet, craft a tune that all can resonate with. Aside from that, songs like “Bogorodice Djevo” include some vocals and blend with a Castlevania-style organ piece. Anyone who has played the video games or watched the show will be left in awe, I can tell you that much, folks.
KATTA is a unique artist mastering the art of organ playing, and their music is truly out of the box. It’s not every day one gets to witness a classical musician create modern melodies that appeal to a worldwide audience. That being said, folks, don’t miss out on “Vox Organi!”
