Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots plays drums on the track. Josh previously appeared on โSavageโ from the โSkin & Earthโ album, and this is their second collaboration.
Lights says in the video โThe video for โIn My Headโ is the visual and conceptual culmination of the three songs that came before it. P.P. has a primary color palette, therefore the first video (โProdigal Daughterโ) was red, โReal Thing (with Elohim)โ was blue, and โSalt And Vinegarโ was yellow. โIn My Headโ was always planned to be all three, and it also serves as a conceptual summary of the series.โ
Lightsโ new album, โPP,โ will be released on April 1 through Fueled By Ramen.
She has the following to say about it and what it symbolizes:
โIโve never understood the challenge more than I did when I was producing this record. My vision appears to be complete, and each component stems from the profound transformation Iโve gone through in my personal life over the last five years. We are all products, and we all promote ourselves on a daily basis. If youโre going to market yourself, then brand yourself to happiness,โ says PEP.
