Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots plays drums on the track. Josh previously appeared on ‘Savage’ from the ‘Skin & Earth’ album, and this is their second collaboration.

Lights says in the video “The video for ‘In My Head’ is the visual and conceptual culmination of the three songs that came before it. P.P. has a primary color palette, therefore the first video (‘Prodigal Daughter’) was red, ‘Real Thing (with Elohim)’ was blue, and ‘Salt And Vinegar’ was yellow. ‘In My Head’ was always planned to be all three, and it also serves as a conceptual summary of the series.”
Lights’ new album, ‘PP,’ will be released on April 1 through Fueled By Ramen.
She has the following to say about it and what it symbolizes:
“I’ve never understood the challenge more than I did when I was producing this record. My vision appears to be complete, and each component stems from the profound transformation I’ve gone through in my personal life over the last five years. We are all products, and we all promote ourselves on a daily basis. If you’re going to market yourself, then brand yourself to happiness,” says PEP.
