Creating more headroom in the ecosystem, Waters by Nina Arya shows a personal and thought-provoking take on the axiom, โBlood is thicker than water.โ With a mezzo-soprano voice, she starts off on a lower timbre, singing: โSomethingโs in the water/ Somethingโs sinking in the water,โ conveying that the water has much depth and weight in it.
Ipswich crooner Nina Arya, under her alias, tries to bring the โwatersโ to life in her song with the musical effects of the piano and synth waves. Her producer, B Tai, utilizes the instrumentals to resonate with the likeness of dripping water and its slow movement in a still body reverberating in a room.
The synthesizer, heavy bass lines, and minimal instrumentals are all thatโs needed to accompany Nina Aryaโs lulling and tender vocals. With her great levels of range and the song mastered with her vocals layered on top of each other, the song creates an angelic tone. Ninaโs vocals carry a passionate undertone, while the soulful overtones give more meaning to the introspective lyrics.
If we are not wrong, the single cover art is a stunner in itself as well. With soft and warm tone color grading, the cover demonstrates Ninaโs tattooed hands crossed over a sensual expression. The baby blue sky behind Nina in the picture is an underrated but well-suited motif to her song.
So, who is Nina Arya? She has already amassed 2 million streams while collaborating with big names. Nina Arya is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Now listen to Waters and see why she is worth the weight in gold.
