Alon Mylo shreds the mold into glitter and throws it in your face. His latest track, “wildin’,” from the upcoming project The Outer, is a genre-bending fever dream that grabs you by the collar and doesn’t let go.
From the get-go, the track has an unpredictable rhythm. It pulses with a gritty, eerie rhythm of clinks, taps, while that deep undercurrent crawls under your skin. Then comes Alon’s voice like a whispering menace, sharp and fast, then suddenly smooth and drawn-out like he’s casting a spell. His vocal delivery shapeshifts, seduces, lashes out, then retreats into a hypnotic trance. And right when you think you’ve got a handle on it, he throws in a curveball with the almost absurdly catchy refrain, like he is drug-dosed. It’s like a glitch in the matrix that you can’t stop replaying.
“wildin’” talks about The Outer, a wolfish persona driven by lust and pain, spiraling between instinct and reflection. It’s deeply personal and wildly theatrical. That’s why, this song feels like a strobe light in the middle of an emotional breakdown.
Following previous successes like Moon Uprising and In a Parachute, this one cranks up the heat with a tossing turn. “wildin’” is the full-blown affair that gets you moving in strange ways.
You’ll probably be dancing or moving by the end of it, with the energy to create and be yourself, settling in your heart, energizing a change by the next release. Check out “wildin’” by Alon Mylo on Spotify.
