Willy Hobal released striking new song ‘WILLY FROM THE BLOCK’
Willy Hobal, a Dominican musician based in Switzerland, released the first single from his album ‘VIRGO’ titled ‘Willy From The Block’. This song examines Virgo’s connection to her people, her origins, and her earthy side. It debuted on all digital platforms on Friday, January 20.
The song ‘Willy From the Block’ was inspired by Jennifer Lopez’s song ‘Jenny From the Block’ and combines European pop rhythms with Dembow Dominican music.
Willy inspires the listener to put in the effort and move forward in life by using the lyrics of this song to do so. “To see the light you get out of the dark, to win I already I worked hard, this is my promise for a better future; even if they put walls there are to go safe,” the song’s verse declares.
