Work by Max Benjamin: Album Review
Max Benjamin is an absolute king when it comes to alternative rock, in his album โWorkโ in which he does a fantastic job. In all 10 songs, timed at 35 minutes and 31 seconds, he shows off his brilliant mastering of the rock-driven guitar work, accompanied by fine and gritty vocals.
In this guitar-centric album, he starts off strong with โUnstoppableโ, continuing with a signature set of gorgeous melodies, finely tuned vocals, and a rich sound. Itโs proof that whatever comes next packs a punch! The steady drumbeat and guitar strums show that Max is playing it safe and in control. Thatโs evident in โWay Out,โ a piece whose guitars carry weight and whose beautiful and emotional lyrics make it a defining one. Proceeding on to the next few tracks, youโll be stuck between โWho?! โ and โNot Thinking.โ The combination of everything adds depth as Max puts on an instrumental show, leaning toward hard rock and fast-paced vocals. He keeps it upbeat over gentle plucking on his guitar in the final track โThe Lightโ. The track will have you sing along once its lyrics become familiar.
Overall, thereโs no doubt that Max Benjamin is a creative genius who showcased commitment and top-notch effort in โWork,โ which will be easily loved by any alternative indie listeners fond of the gritty style. So be sure to blast into full volume when you stream the entire album!
