XIXI releases catchy new song ‘800 Avanti Place’
Hip-hop, rap, R&B, and soul producer XIXI (pronounced “eleven eleven”) from Washington, D.C., released Volume 2 of his instrumental concept series ‘Boog’ on November 11, 2022, across all streaming services.
Vol. 2 makes the EP “more than just a beat tape” by incorporating vocal arrangements into the auditory story telling.
(heatwave) The process, according to XIXI, began when he realized that ‘Run,’ a song he co-wrote with The Voice and had been keeping in his library for more than a year, would make the ideal introduction song. The remainder of the album’s inspiration then began to flow.
American music producer XIXI hails from Landover, Maryland. At the age of 8, he started his musical career by playing drums in the go-go group The Yunga Bucks. His work can be heard on the award-winning short film ‘Pizza People’ and the SHOWTIME sports documentary ‘Basketball County: In the Water’.
