Zabble Dub by EMPTY CANS IN OUTER SPACE: Review
It has been centuries since Galileo Galilei uttered the famous words, โAnd yet it moves.โ Humans have walked on the moon, and we now know far more about the universe than that the Earth is round and orbits the Sun. Space, however, remains a mysterious and vast expanse, full of uncharted worlds to discover and challenges to conquer. There, in the silence and the darkness, we can always find something to spark our imaginations and inspire our creativity in the arts of all kinds. It is the theme you will get to discover in EMPTY CANS IN OUTER SPACEโs new song, titled โZabble Dubโ
It is exactly what you would imagine it to be: a journey into another universe. The band mixes cosmic, futuristic synth elements with a lingering, jarring electronic guitar tune on top of a tension-building beat. It spins around like a human centrifuge training before the music launches the listeners into a floating soundscape. The band doesnโt waste any time crafting an enigmatic, transcendental space of their own.
EMPTY CANS IN OUTER SPACE is the collaboration of two musicians from Germany and Belarus who have both previously recorded music under a variety of aliases. โZabble Dubโ is one of 10 tracks on the bandโs second album, โOuter Worldsโ. An animated video for the song, created by the incredible graphic artist Ivan Drybas was unveiled to the audience on the 61st anniversary of the first human space voyage. You wouldnโt want to pass on this feast.
