With drums and cymbals keeping the song going, Sleeve by Bradley Copper & Friends is a wake-up call to reality to open your door to all opportunities instead of limiting yourself to only one. The vocalist questions, โwhy is it so hard to believe all these possibilities tugging at your sleeves?โ This song reminds us that our path is as wide as our vision.
In the bandโs words, their new single, that just released on the 10th of February, is โabout manifesting your dreams and willing them into existence. If you put out positive energy into the universe it has a way of coming back round.โ This song opens your eyes to opportunities you once turned a blind eye to.
Sleeve creates a folk sound with the background acoustic guitar contributed by an upfront flute in addition to the rock elements with the electric guitars and drums, bringing us down a path of tranquility amidst country tunes. The song begins with an acoustic guitar solo and Bradโs verse trying to acquaint you with your potential, calling it the very โfruit of our minds.โ
The bridge pays attention to the marvelous instrumental play, layering flute sounds, keyboard with acoustic guitar, and a drum, retaining the rock genre within, as an echoing voice sings in the background, replicating a choir. Brad Swenson, the vocalist, has a sweet, friendly voice that holds you in a warm embrace as he sings soulfully, reckoning a leaning toward soul music while the lyrics tend towards a bluegrass tone.
