Alex Zelenka releases vibing EP “Sun Showers, Vol. 1”
Alex Zelenka is a solo producer of electronic music. He began making compositions in Chicago in 2002 and has been a DJ since 1996. Alex’s primary musical influences pertain to the soundscapes of Industrial music, synthwave, and Chicago house. Quite notably, he has performed numerous outstanding performances over the years. In 2016, the musician performed at Lollapalooza (Chicago), Ultra (Miami), and Hollywood Palladium (Los Angeles), as well as a sold-out tour alongside Crystal Castles.
In the past five years, Alex has reissued all of his previous albums with remastered sound and an outstanding amount of mixing was ensured. The artist also claims that a new record will be released soon. He appreciates composing emotionally-charged music with solid progressions. As evident from his energetic and melodic EP “Sun Showers, Vol. 1.” Alex fuels the track by adding subtle EDM sequences, and the meaning is about gifting the entire world with compassion through song.
Alex’s beat arrangement and the electronic production value are truly resonant. Upon hearing his EP, both the song “Sun Showers” featuring the likes of Matthew Silver and the instrumental version is an absolute jam. The former features amazing synthesizer melodies and connects them with a dialogue-heavy verse. Ultimately, it forms a flavorful track, that will surely inspire you. There’s a rather sentimental angle to the musician’s creativity. It made me value the intensity of his work, as well as the musical personality that derives from it.
