All Time is Borrowed Time by Dream of a Man in a Top Hat: Review
The electronic duo ages like fine wine with a remarkable comeback “All Time is Borrowed Time”. Their wholeheartedly awaited sophomore project is currently in the oven, after the critically acclaimed debut “Sudden Return of DOAMIATH” last summer. Alternative fans are fascinated with their fresh sound experimentation, free spirit of writing and a unique style in the electronic scene.
“All Time is Borrowed Time” is the duo’s latest single up to date. DOAMIATH continues their philosophy of provocative lyrics and chaotic but utmost interesting arrangement in this track. The sound is fused with post-punk Daft Punk inspiration and a free-spirited accordion accompaniment. This creates a positively joyful loop, reminding us of slow-dancing dance tracks of the 80s prom nights. The track is giving me “space cowboys” realness for sure.
Quotable lyrics:
“Doing yourself a favor
Living your life like you mean it
Doing the things that you wanna do
And you’re doing those things
As you’re living that life
There’s only so much time
In your life”
The track promises a bright, definitive future for psychedelic music fanatics in particular and alternative/electronic genre fans in general. DOAMIATH reassures their placement in the alternative music field once again with a fascinating opening track. If your regular go-to are Daft Punk and American country music, DOAMIATH is ought to look out for.
All Time is Borrowed Time by Dream of a Man in a Top Hat (DOAMIATH) is now available for streaming on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music.
