Amber by Logica Abstracta is less of an EP and more of an experienceโlike stepping into a dream woven from light, space, and sound. There are no beats to ground you, no percussion to tether you to time. Instead, you float. The title track opens like a slow, zooming drone, shimmering with delicate waves of ambience while a faint ticking lingers in the background, as if marking time in some otherworldly dimension. Itโs hypnotic, almost meditative, pulling you into its sonic gravity.
Then comes โDifferent Lizardโ, where melody and mood entwine in a brooding haze, a delicate interplay of atmosphere and emotion. Itโs a slow descent into something deeper, where textures shift like shadows, never fully forming but always present. โEcotonโ follows, carrying a more mysterious undertone, wrapping the listener in a fog of sound, while an almost imperceptible rhythm hums beneath, like the pulse of a hidden world.
But the real soul of the EP reveals itself in the closer, โWhite Conjuring,โ which feels less like music and more like an encounter. Haunting vocalizations echo through vast emptiness, both ethereal and deeply resonant. The bass swells, enveloping everything in a thick, sonic penumbra, leaving you somewhere between tranquility and unease.
Amber is a sonic artifactโsmall, weightless, but undeniably magnetic. Itโs ambient music at its most evocative and subtle. Check it out on Spotify.
