Another Spoon by Wanaka: Review
“Another Spoon,” a groovy track performed by Wanaka, is a melodic storm comprised of swift instrumentation and vocals that are soothing. This song has a lot of elements that have the characteristic of classic rock, and after hearing the whole thing, I have to say that I have a great deal of admiration for the guitar solos. At first, “Another Spoon” sounds like a gentle whisper filled with acoustic guitars; yet, by the end of the song, a roaring chorus of electric guitars causes goosebumps.
The style of composition used by Wanaka is intriguing. The artist’s voice has a really unique quality to it that pays homage to the early days of rock and roll. In the 1960s and 1970s, when the rocker spirit could be cool and tranquil one second, and then soar like a phoenix with force the next, rock & roll was at its height. The song “Another Spoon” displays a similar mentality from Wanaka. This is because his voice, which had a clear tone to it, brought about an atmosphere that was bluesy. In addition to that, the acoustic patterns produced notes that evoked images of the wild west. As a result, everything had a tone that was quite easy on the ears, which I found to be very enjoyable. When the guitar solo finally started, I was overjoyed because it had such a comprehensive tone, and each note could be heard very distinctly.
At the age of nine, Wanaka started learning how to play the organ, guitar, and ukulele. As a result of this, it is pretty clear, based on his performance, that such an experienced craft exists.
