Astronaut by Margo: Review
โAstronautโ by Margo was released as her second single on November 25, 2022. She is a singer and songwriter and talks about the epidemic of loneliness she felt and the dreams she had that seemed so far away and unreachable. Margo has struck again with another track while her first release was still a hit by releasing the second single of her brief but incredibly delightful discography. Like her previous work, it is a catchy little number that promises to get a lot of attention.
The track starts with a synth-sounded tune accompanied by subtle drumming and the sweet and dreamy voice of the singer. The straightforward bass line and the keyboard work take the song to another level. The lyrics talk about how she is 21 years old and she is supposed to have fun, but she is drifting towards nothingness, as most young adults feel, especially during the times of the COVID pandemic.
It is easier to get lost in Margoโs singing capabilities and the way she delivers her tunes. Margoโs voice has a reassuringly delicate quality that makes โAstronautโ seem weightless despite the songโs heartbreaking topic, leading the listener to believe that there is, indeed, something more to life than this current situation. Listeners who will hear Margoโs track will be curious to explore her previous tracks and await her new releases. Her voice and music have a distinct soothing quality to them. This song is something that will travel far and has the potential to become a hit.
