Babelshack Theater: Volume 1 by Babelshack Theater: Album Review
Babelshack Theater creates bass-driven electronic and indie music. The artistโs melodic presentation is fluid in the album โBabelshack Theater: Volume 1โ. Filled with atmospheric synthesizers, and subtle instrumentation sequences, the track is perfect to hear as you get lost in your thoughts on a cozy afternoon.
Initiating with the track โEdible Productโ, the album opens up with an industrial-style sequence, accompanied by the bass guitar, and it has this excellent deep undertone. Grasping the soul of the track gave off immense experimental and meditative notions. The singerโs voice is clean, crisp, and blends beautifully with the overall somber tone of the song. As we reach the 4th track โFoolโ we get a glimpse of Babelshack Theaterโs lofi persona. Mixing stellar reverbed guitar chords with some added voices for a fantastic musical conversation. As the album progressed further and further, I appreciated the experimental edge of the artist. Their musical flow is quite fresh indeed! In โFrom My Lipsโ, the bass rhythm takes the center stage to perform an almost ballad-style romantic ode.
โEnd Of The Nightโ is a trippy synth-wave track mixing bass with arpeggio-style keys. The end result is this futuristic melody that anyone can groove out to. โBabelshack Theater: Volume 1โ is what happens when dark cyberpunk music meets the destination of slow jam funk. The outcome is a trusty bass guitar to whip out magical notes filled with tension and theatric appeal. I must commend the tone used for the instrument, a richness in its heavy presence is remarkable to hear.
