Baby Mic Candy drops blazing new song ‘UKERU’
Baby Mic Candy (BMC), a young Thai and Japanese hip-hop group, has announced the release of two consecutive singles on Friday, November 18, 2022, and Friday, December 2, 2022, respectively, via Sony Music Entertainment Japan.
Baby Mic Candy’s most recent single, ‘TRY’ (pronounced ‘Long Khui’ in Thai), demonstrates yet another facet of their influence in the musical sphere. Previous releases include their debut heart-pounding single, ‘RUN’ and party-hit departure single, ‘TAKE OFF’. The song serves as an excellent introduction to FIAT, the most recent member to join BMC as of October 2022. The song ‘TRY’ has a very catchy sing-along melody with empathetic lyrics that will capture the listener’s heart where chill vibe meets modern pop and R&B.
The fourth single from BMC, ‘UKERU’, exudes vigor and adventure. The word ‘UKERU’ means funny or more specifically, “lol.” The song, which is a hard-driven fusion of techno and hip-hop, transports you on a journey of high dancing energy and is simple enough to make anyone bop along to. For the single ‘UKERU’, a new fresh sound of hard electronic music was created by combining unpredictable yet catchy melodies with high energy flows. The Japanese rap portions were written by GOLI and YUKI of BMC, while the Thai and English parts were written by Sirpoppalot, one of the well-known and distinctive hip-hop artists in Thailand. The lyrics were also produced by the artists and producers Alex Sypsomos and Chin Chinawut (Chinawut Indracusin).
