Back to You by Lipford: Review

Pop musician Lipford is of Italian-American descent. With his solo efforts as a profound artist, Lipford hopes to explore vast new musical territories in his book of melodies. His musical odes have the creative ambition to convey feelings with a slice-of-life twist, that we embrace and reflect upon. Lipford’s stellar track “Back to You” is a harmonious acoustic track in which he showcases exceptional singing skills and a sound that is truly heartwarming to hear.

First and foremost, the song has a strong foundation with the acoustic guitar. Lipford incorporates serene chords combined with fillers here and there. He adds the shaker instrument to add an auditory flare that mixes very well with the somber and at times bright tone of the guitar. The guitar arrangement has interesting chord changes, the transitions have scales that are minor based, with occasional major changes. Here, Lipford manages to blend his singing tone accordingly so that the melodies perfectly align with the guitar’s structure.

Overall “Back to You” is quite uplifting, especially in the latter sections of the song. It has a very catchy chorus in which Lipford pours his heart out with a very delicate and passionate singing ability. The artist’s creativity and flow are displayed quite significantly, and it is evident that his composition is a true hit indeed. In the context of the lyrics, Lipford’s ability to create a world where his thoughts and emotions are portrayed. Hence, it is truly unique and a joy to hear.
