Bamboozle Tesseract by Tyler Kamen: Album Review
“Bamboozle Tesseract” is a splendid progressive rock album by Tyler Kamen. His musical style is a mix of instrumental skill and charming vocals. He creates a melodic force, and it’s incredible what one man can do with a plethora of instruments. Thus, without further ado, let’s move on to grasp the depth of Tyler’s album “Bamboozle Tesseract.”
After a soft piano beginning on “Introduction – Future X,” we are led to the instrumental mastery of the track “The Bamboozle Tesseract.” From swift guitar segments to energetic drum pieces, the entire song has excellent rhythm sections that’ll impress you entirely. The melodic science of “Splitting Atoms” is simply mind-bending. Tyler leads us down a spiral of bass and percussions where the time signatures are very intricate, and other times follow a more straightforward rock pattern. Then, upon reaching the jazzy number “Vegetable Medley,” we are greeted by a lively musical anthem that invigorates our senses. The jazz aspects arrive from a few trumpet portions that beautifully merge with Tyler’s prog rock sound.
Space rock and fast-paced jazz intertwine in the track “Detective Sheriff.” A powerful cadence is formed with lively guitar, wind, and intergalactic synth segments. The energy is simply soul-stirring, and it progresses in spectacular prog-rock fashion to the next piece “Lights Over Zezop Way.” It continues the swift music tradition, yet adds a catchy pop allure to it. That being said, please don’t miss out on Tyler’s album.
