Big Tech by Liv-id: Review
Energizing beats and a spontaneous rapper merge in Liv-id’s fire track “Big Tech.” His take on the rap genre is a mix of melodic poetry in tune with deep basslines that keep the song’s essence alive. The Hip Hop music biz continues to flourish with fresh acts as such, and it fills me up with ecstasy knowing that this is the current state of things. Let’s move on folks, there’s much to discuss.
“Big Tech” takes us back to the roots of Hip Hop with a smooth synth piece. Eventually, when the beats drop, the tempo’s magnitude drops hard. Right after, Liv-id’s fluid ode commences, and it sets the mood perfectly. His rap technique intrigued me to the core because it’s swift, but not too swift if you catch my drift. The artist matches just the right amount of intensity and flow to make his song stand out, and not overshadow the instrumental bits as well. Instead, when he enters a verse, the melody cascades into the bars, and a natural balance is ensured. Ultimately, “Big Tech” is the type of music you hear on Monday mornings, just to get that last kick before the 9-5 grind initiates.
The influence of Liv-id’s track “Big Tech” is a great indicator that the spirit of the rap genre is still strong. As mentioned earlier, I truly am happy with the current state of things in the Hip Hop biz. More and more artists are showing creative form, and their lyrical stance is nothing short of stellar!
