Bollo Bollo from the UK release a new single โLast of our summersโ. A track from the DEBUT EP โIโVE GOT A GOOD FEELING ABOUT THISโ
Bollo Bollo, a four-piece from Buckinghamshire, has released their debut EP, โIโve Got a Good Feeling About This.โ The band blends indie and alternative rock styles on the EP, taking everyone down a bright and fruitful route toward their first full body of work. Along with the release of their EP, the band has released their latest single, โLast Of Our Summers,โ a joyful piece of indie rock that serves as a unique cocktail for lovers of Foals, Don Broco, Fontaines DC, and Tame Impala.
โโLast Of Our Summersโ has been lingering for many years, dating back to 2018 as a scrappy demo on my iPad initially dubbed โRinky Dink,โ itโs been Frankensteined more times than we can count, and we almost gave up on it totally.โ This is one of my favorite songs on the EP because it has virtually every aspect of us stuffed into a single song, and it truly is the sound of all of our influences coming together in a single song. I like how the song is surprising, switching from tight rhythms, ambient passages, and hefty moments in such a short amount of time.โ Sonny Ford โ (Guitarist)
Bollo Bollo have earned backing from BBC Radio 6 Music and a variety of tastemakers, with The Honey Pop calling them โshow-stopping alt-rock.โ Theyโve already teased us with prior tracks โMental Mirrorโ and โLiquid Heaven.โ โThe Lion,โ the final track on their โIโve Got a Good Feeling About Thisโ EP, is a desert-rock style piece that explodes into a wall of indie-pop frenzy. The EPโs final track, โSubject To Change,โ is a Foals-inspired track that builds into a wall of hazy indie rock. When taken as a whole, this EP demonstrates the breadth of Bollo Bolloโs songwriter and performer abilities.
โThis EP was planned before the world took an unexpected turn, which turned out to be a bit of a blessing in disguise because not only did we get the amazing Luc on board with his drumming and production talents, but we also got the fantastic Luc on board with his drumming and production skills. We also had plenty of opportunity to soak up as much inspiration as possible from artists such as Fontaines D.C., Don Broco, and Mac Miller. Despite the fact that not being able to see one other and being stuck in traffic hampered us, we made the best of the circumstance and made the most of the one thing we had in abundance: time. We took our time with this EP, and we believe it has benefited it much. The EP opens with a progressive and political track and concludes with one as well. A mixture of numerous problems and obstacles that we confront on a daily basis is sandwiched in the middle. In general, life is like that; you get caught up in your little conflicts and lose sight of the wider picture. Things will be better if you are surrounded by love and support. Iโve Got a Good Feeling About This is an EP that capitalizes on our issues in the hopes of shedding some light on others.โ Bradley Ayres is a writer who has written for a variety of publications (Vocalist).
โIโve Got A Good Feeling About Thisโ EP released Friday 27th May 2022 via all streaming platforms.ย
