Bottom Again by Moonlight Saints: Review
Moonlight Saints create high-intensity rock music that is reminiscent of the musical era from the late 20th century. This three-piece band is based in Brookfield, MA, and consists of members Evan Couture directing the vocals/lead guitar, Darren Boulrice tags along with a trusty bass as well as the guitar, and finally, Will Couture commands the drums. Their gripping track “Bottom Again” is simply stunning with eccentric guitar solos and a dominant vocal force at the helm.
My first impression when hearing “Bottom Again” by Moonlight Saints is the amplified riff section. Truly stellar work on that piece as it had an intriguing blend of classic metal and vintage rock. All together it summoned the energy of Mötley Crüe and Led Zeppelin, and that my friends is an appealing tone to show off. Side by side, a high-pitched (and slightly gravelly) singer makes an entrance and uplifts the passages of “Bottom Again.” Hearing their performance was an enriching experience, and it truly brought the fire of hard rock with it.
The guitar portions on Moonlight Saints’ track had an interesting sound and pattern. Especially the solo sections! It was pretty satisfying to hear, as fuzz and classic rock distortion were involved. When it came on, I immediately raised the volume, ‘cause it was the track’s apex without a doubt. “Bottom Again” is one of those songs I’d recommend to anyone with a rocker spirit, ‘cause we need more music as such to relive the good old days.
