It’s been four years since Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris teamed up to make “One Kiss,” a midsummer smash song. They’ve reunited for a new summer jam called “Potion,” which features Young Thug and a dash of sex appeal.

Dua and Young Thug jam on a tropical island from sunset to dark in the accompanying music video for this disco-pop hit. Dua begins by singing from an overturned vintage automobile. To complement the song’s relaxed, sensual emotions, the video shows numerous clips fading into each other. Before the video fades to dark, a brief shot of Dua leaning against Harris can be seen as the song ends.

Harris teased the song on TikTok earlier this week with the phrase “How I made Potion.” The video features him tinkering with his keyboard and electric guitar, as well as a small footage of the DJ FaceTiming with Dua and a snippet of the song.

The song “Potion” is the first single from Harris’ upcoming album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2, which will be released this summer. The song is also the DJ’s second collaboration with Young Thug, following “Heatstroke” in 2017 with Pharrell Williams and Ariana Grande.

“One Kiss,” Harris and Lipa’s most renowned duet, was released in April 2018 and became the UK Singles Chart’s longest-running No. 1 single for eight weeks. This time, we’ll see what type of liquid “Potion” has in store.
