Caxiel releases groovy new song ‘Out of time’
Caxiel’s fifth single as an independent artist, ‘Out of time’, solidifies his proficiency in producing, composing, arranging, singing, mixing, and mastering his own work. This completes the circle. Caxiel chose to experiment with one of his favorite musical eras, the lush 80s synth-pop genre, after his fourth single, ‘Gotta move on’, where he leaned into his k-pop, electronic, synth pop, and EDM influences.
‘Out of time’ becomes another personal journey, similar to his other singles. A synth anthem that focuses on feelings of loss, the passage of time, missed opportunities, and being able to move on despite previous setbacks and difficulties. It has a vibrant soundscape and passionate melodies. He explains, “I wanted to try and express those feelings of hopelessness, sometimes even of dread, feelings of death, when our dreams are made to suffer under the challenges that life usually brings, I wanted my vocals to transmit that energy, the highs and lows, and the instrumentals sometimes convey the opposite, a sense of hope fighting against utter defeat.” He never shies away from dark themes and mixes hopeful and energetic synths with melodic and dark vocals.
