With Collective Liberation, Mystic Wolf has curated a ritual, a revolution, and a roadmap. Across four deeply immersive tracks, the project channels ancestral memory, global resistance, and spiritual resilience, into this meditative and mobilizing album. Released through Brazil-based Agami Records as part of their SEED 4: Humans and Spirituality Campaign, this second EP from the California-born artist is a call to collective healing rooted in Indigenous sovereignty, land defense, and decolonial frameworks.
The opening track, โCollective Liberation,โ sets the tone with trembling percussion and ghostly female vocalizations that seem to rise from the soil itself. Itโs an offering to those who came before us. As the track unfolds, a grounding pulse enters, lifting the mist and introducing a warm melody that rises amid the layered harmonies like light breaking through morning fog
โDรบthchas,โ continues that delicate fusion of earth and ether. Writhing strings and soft percussion give way to a lush, hypnotic rhythm that seems to breathe. As layers fade in and out like waves, it connects deeply to place and spirit, like the title itself which refers to Gaelic concepts of inherited land and kinship.
Perhaps the most cinematic of the EP is โPulse of Primal Alchemy.โ It opens with jittery percussion, swelling strings, and high flute-like sounds that ripple like wind through ancient canopies. By the midpoint, the track transforms into an electric throb, pulsing with futuristic cool before plunging back into orchestral tension. Itโs an unstoppable energy, that summons the spirits that have been shaken out of their complicit bodies.
More than a listening experience, Collective Liberation is a movement in musical form and a sacred work of reclaiming our shared future. Stay tuned to Mystic Wolf on Spotify.
