If there’s one word to sum up Proklaim’s latest double-edged single “CREEPIN/FURTHER (2 IN 1)” from the album CREEPIN/FURTHER, it’s explosive. Dropped on July 17, 2025, this track is a time machine blending old-school boom bap with the pulsating heartbeat of South African Amapiano. Hailing from Windhoek, Namibia, Proklaim is back to challenge the norm.
The song kicks off with a haunting bassline that creeps under your skin, just as the title “CREEPIN” suggests. Then come the dark, heavy, and tense strings, setting the stage for Proklaim to bless our conscience with his iconic, incisive, fast, meaningful, and grave raps, like a preacher with a message you can’t ignore. It’s less of a performance and more of an awakening. And just when you think you’ve got the vibe pegged, bam—the track flips.
Enter “FURTHER,” the second wind that feels like a full-on gear shift. Think shimmering cymbals, dance-floor percussion, and a blast of adrenaline. It’s chaotic in the best way. The beat builds into a bright, almost tribal climax that gets your shoulders bouncing. And here, Proklaim loosens up, singing with a deep, velvety voice that adds soul to the storm, bringing the after-party to the lesson.
Mixed and mastered by Wojtek Majewski at Audio Art Namibia, the production quality is clean yet gritty. Recorded at Pen Pushaz Studios, the track feels spontaneous, like Proklaim was riding a wave of divine inspiration.
