Cut Diamond by Scarlet Joy: Review
โCut Diamondโ is a fantastic indie track that Scarlet Joy has composed quite brilliantly. It surrounds you with an aura of intrigue which will definitely carry you to another place with its melody. In addition to some heavenly guitar compositions, and vocals that will captivate your inner self, there are also bass lines that will get your body moving. The percussion components are also worth mentioning because they have a very classic and punk rock feel to them. In addition to the fact that I found the trackโs harmonies and transitions to be rather enjoyable, I couldnโt help but think that I was listening to the score of a Wes Anderson movie.
The singerโs voice was a lovely combination of early independent music from the 2000s and the underground music culture in the UK as well. The lyrics of the song have a wonderful word choice and extremely hypnotizing qualities that draw the listener in. I get a kick out of hearing a rock and roll homage that boldly addresses a subject that the musician is deeply committed to defending via their work. There are some light piano parts included, and they are brought to the forefront throughout the chorus. Which is an effective part of the song that may undoubtedly ease your mind and inspire you to desire more from the band.
According to the artist the track โCut Diamondโ is all about getting away from reality. Itโs about searching in the wrong places for acceptance and affection. This is about decisions we make the night before yet afterward regret those decisions.
