Dead End by Sinikka Monte: Review

Listening to โDead Endโ by Sinikka Monte made my jaw drop and I realized that thereโs a new melodic queen in town whoโs got the guts of Billie Eilish but in a more sultry tone.
What an original, bold, and rich sound! I had no idea something so deep in undertone and gritty could hold onto such an eclectic pop sound before! The song is about a relationshipโs dead end, which could have bloomed into something beautiful. Personally, Iโm intrigued by the way the track ends; itโs got that modern twist of slowed and reverbed taste thatโs all the hype these days. It certainly has the potential to break out and go viral! I know it would call out to my girls out there whoโve had a bitter ending to the sweetest of affairs!
After learning about the artist, I found that Sinikka and I have two things in common: Labrinth and Ariana Grande! When these two artists are her inspiration, thereโs no doubt that her musical career has to be euphoric! Besides that, sheโs also influenced by Madison Beer, which I can totally hear in her sound as she keeps it raw and honest in the way she pours her heart into the lines โIโm terrified of loving you a second timeโ. This 20-year-old singer-songwriter is here to score big within the music industry with her sincere lyrics, an energy of modern pop-rock, and a seductively honeyed voice that you wonโt be forgetting anytime soon. So, be sure to tune into โDead Endโ along with Sinikkaโs debut release โIt Ainโt Youโ.
