Denver by Royce DeZorzi: Review

Royce DeZorzi, an American musician who plays fingerstyle guitar and has origins in Annapolis, Maryland, is a member of the band Americana. In his approach, he uses both complex and straightforward melodies, and he is known for his simplicity. This is made very clear by the arrangement being played on the guitar in a single take, with no percussion and no bass guitar. This gentleman has an abundance of natural skill, ladies and gentlemen. Permit me to elaborate on his fingerstyle approach: he simultaneously plays chords, the melody, and the bass line in the song! Now that requires a high level of talent. In addition to a significant amount of time spent on it. As a result, his song โDenverโ is a charming melody that will undoubtedly calm your senses.
Blues and American folk music are also recognizable elements in Royceโs playing style. Due to the fact that he does not sing, this tune is entirely instrumental. The finger-picking approach calls to mind the agility of Chet Atkins, a legendary figure in American fingerstyle guitar.
The level of expertise that Royce possesses in the guitar is simply faultless, and the way that he is able to weave together numerous melodies is fantastic. He maintains a bottom note throughout the song while also contributing lead guitar components. When you put two and two together, it seems as though there are two people playing, but in reality, there is only one. Therefore, congratulations, and fantastic job on โDenver,โ Royce!
