Do Ya by Dorian: Review
After listening to his self-motivating revolutionary track “Proud” and The Weekend meets Jason Derulo type of fusion “Reign Love”, I just couldn’t get enough of Dorian. He had me relishing at the moment and his latest release “Do Ya” made tuning into him worth it for me!
In this track, Dorian caught me by surprise with an amplified artistic perspective through the radically eccentric beat, melody, and vocals. A departure from his previous work; it’s a blissful synth-pop track in the vein of trance music. His mastery of the song’s intensity is on full display in the way he delivers the song’s title line, causing you to be on the edge with fascination, curiosity, and rapt attention. There’s a pulsating synth composition and a pounding rhythm that give “Do Ya” a futuristic, upbeat, and current pop vibe. So like all of his tracks, it’s a bop that’ll definitely leave you feeling energized and ready to dance the night away.
Right after releasing his seven-song album The Arrival: Dream World Pt. 2, he offers us this fresh title. At the same time, he also shared news of the impending drop of his new extended play (EP), titled 33. Appropriately titled in honor of the artist’s age, it’s said to be a portrayal of his greatest and most vulnerable work to date and I can’t wait for it.
