Dolphins by Blue Coffee: Review
Blue Coffee are a stellar rock band with a sound that pays homage to classic grunge and alternative rock of the 1990s. Their track โDolphinsโ brings back that familiar feeling of listening to vintage rock hits in your bedroom with tiny headphones and a Walkman keeping you company. Blue Coffee accomplishes this sentiment perfectly with high-gain electric guitars, beautifully structured chords, and a vocal presence that screams the 90s so darn well that my inner teen keeps calling out from the deepest corners of my heart.
From the very first minute when โDolphinsโ started playing, my mind entered a delightful musical trance. The clean guitar notes made me feel rather at peace with myself, even with so much work piling up and errands to run. Suddenly all the responsibilities didnโt matter much; rather, the sound of Blue Coffee jamming out was a therapeutic release that granted me a bit of salvation. The band does this pretty well through a passionate vocal presence and instrumental synergy. This is especially so when the song reaches its crescendo. The drums are in full swing, bass lines cover the entire atmosphere, and the singer is absolutely on their game. Altogether, itโs a melodic connection that is tough to create but so heartwarming to experience from a listener such as myself.
If youโre eager to take a trip down memory lane into 90s rock, then youโve come to the right place. Thus, Dolphins by Blue Coffee should be the right track for that dose of nostalgia!
