Dose of Oxytocin by Elion Melody: Review
Dose Of Oxytocin, recently released by Elion Melody, is a flawless masterpiece. As its name indicates, this EP’s profound poetry and indescribable melodies are meant to give you a healthy dose of oxytocin.
Starting out with “Cloud No. 11,” which sets the tone of the entire album, the song features Padre Toxico, whose special touch gave it a unique flavor. “Bask in The Moment,” is a masterful sentimental piece that’ll leave you mesmerized. The core theme and 808s are subtly supported by smooth electric guitar riffs, which in turn provide room for the shifting and layered voices. The harmony between the main and background singers will blow you away. After the guitar solo fades out, you won’t be able to find your way for days. Coming third in place, the timeless track “Comfortable” is a soothing song, beautifully delivered as a musical feast. Bridged between unique moods to uplift you, “Red Mercedes II” drives a harmony between its melodic and lyrical components to make it into a desirable song. And finally, we have “She Poppin” which is the perfect conclusion to this oxytocin-filled EP. You’ll get chills after listening to this song. 30 seconds in, and I’m sure you’ll love every corner and crevice of this ballad, as Elion Melody establishes a brand new school of RnB, and is someone with excellent taste in the lyrical front and grounded with his soothing vocals. The consistent joyful ecstatic energy that he’s carved out throughout each track may be the thing that makes Dose of Oxytocin truly exceptional and radically original in production.
