Eden Cardall released entrancing new song ‘Ryan’
Paul Cardall, a pianist known for playing new age music, is the father of Eden. She’s eager to rock out because she grew up listening to soft music. She developed a deep love for the music of Queen, Elton John, and the grungy punk bands Green Day and Paramore. Her music expresses her feelings in her everyday experiences. She draws inspiration from the writing and music of Sabrina Carpenter, Conan Gray, and Julia Michaels. The difficulties of growing up in a world that is constantly changing and evolving are expressed in Eden’s music. Through her music, she hopes to spread ideas and experiences, letting listeners know they are not alone when they need to hear their own experiences validated.
“My single ‘RYAN’ means to me that when you like somebody so much and they don’t have that same intention, it hurts and you get sick of trying to put yourself out there and in the end it kind of blows up,” Eden said. “The hurt you experience when someone looks at the person they like the way you look at them while liking someone else in front of you. And while it can be very difficult to accept that things won’t always turn out the way you want them to, you have to learn to accept that sometimes life won’t give you what you wantโwhether it’s something or someoneโno matter how hard you try to get it. Instead, you have to tell yourself, “Hey, I’m amazing, and there’s something better out there for me,” and move on.”
