Eivissa by Gabdez and DMC: Review
With an impressive amount of shows performed worldwide, and even at concerts where renowned artists such as David Guetta and Claptone were headlining, Gabdez has surely made a name for himself in the club music scene. His authentic style of production and musical sense can be heard on the track โEivissaโ. Along with DMC, the overall groove of the piece is stunning. Thereโs a vocal tune that loops at the beginning, and it sets out to be the theme of the entire song. The same melody is then played on a trumpet, man that was unexpected! I just wanted to get myself straight to the dancefloor and sway to the energy of Eivissa.
Gabdezโs origins arrive from Sicily, and his passion for music escalated in the clubs of Milan. He surely knows how to get a crowd going. Itโs not just the vocal and trumpet harmony that makes you dance, but also the transitions that keep the flow natural. His music is deeply rooted within European house music.
Eivissa is the type of song that can get stuck in your head for days. Heck, itโs happening to me already! I truly enjoyed listening to this piece, this is because it made me feel nostalgic of the classic days of house music many years ago. Specifically back in 2013-2015. Gabdezโs music reminds me of a simpler time when I used to play tracks like Eivissa and dance like a maniac in my bedroom. Thanks for that special feeling Gabdez!
