Polish artist LiMaVii reaches for the cosmos on her new single “Electric Moon,” a slow-burning, sensuous piece that feels less like a song and more like a nocturnal ritual under a pink full moon. Based in Gdynia and working closely with a like-minded producer, she turns soul recognition, spiritual connection, and lunar symbolism into something tactile and intimate, borrowing a hint of romantic darkness from Prince’s Purple Rain era while very much staking out her own terrain.
Sonically, “Electric Moon” moves in shadows and glow. A heavy, low bass anchors the track, humming like distant thunder, while a slow, quivering electric guitar riff traces through the mix with a haunted, almost crying tone, clearly channelling that Prince-style idea of the guitar as pure emotion. Steady, heart-pumping drums thump beneath it all, giving the song a sense of inevitability, as if the night itself is advancing one step at a time. Over this, LiMaVii’s voice arrives high, soft and pristine, almost weightless, delivering lines about meeting “in the pulse of the full moon” and being remembered in the “current of stars.” She sings with the softness of a confession, but there’s steel in the way certain words land, like tiny sparks in the dark.
The chorus, with its mantra-like “This is the electric moon / where hearts collide,” widens the frame from personal encounter to cosmic event, suggesting that love here is a creative force, the kind that births galaxies and rewires inner worlds. The production builds a charged atmosphere, letting the music and voice breathe together like one organism
“Electric Moon” is the kind of track best heard with the lights off, eyes closed, letting its lunar voltage sink deep under the skin.
