Epistemikk released notable new song ‘1992’
‘1992’ is a new song from Catalonia-based music producer Epistemikk. Regardless of the distinctions that were once made between techno, psytrance, and EDM, the single aims to convey a difficult-to-understand but crucial message above all else. The novel ‘1992’ tells a tale that not only highlights the world’s glaring social problems but also demonstrates that society as a whole does not appear to be able to address them.
A young girl spoke in ‘1992’, more than 30 years ago, about the world’s obvious issues with climate change, environmental degradation, war, poverty, and injustice. She criticized the political elite for ignoring them. Those accusations could have been expressed exactly the same way decades later, and they were. Today’s social movements and Greta Thunberg, who delivered a startlingly similar speech at the UN, are bringing attention to the same issues. The complaints were unheard and remain unheard.
‘1992’ calls attention to this and demonstrates how, in this instance, human history is not repeating itself as usual but rather is at a standstill. It is clear what Epistemikk is trying to say: a change is needed. a significant change. ‘1992’ is a true representation of the Epistemikk project, which not only produces catchy, potent, and groovy music but also spreads important ideas.
