Alissic has released a new single called ‘Everybody’s Dead Inside,’ which you can listen to below.
The Sheffield-based performer, who was born in Brazil, co-wrote and produced the song with her husband Oli Sykes and his Bring Me The Horizon bandmate Jordan Fish.
‘Everybody’s Dead Inside,’ Alissic’s follow-up to his March song ‘Superstitious,’ is now available on Ministry of Sound.
‘Everybody’s Dead Inside’ by Alissic can be heard below.
Alissic – real name Alissa Salls – will perform on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading & Leeds Event in August, following her live debut at The Great Escape festival in Brighton last week.
While Alissic told NME in October that she and Sykes are unlikely to record a whole project together anytime soon, she did remark that such a record could emerge “maybe one day.”
Meanwhile, Alissic told NME that she is concentrating on solo tracks and discussed some of her primary influences.
“I’m definitely inspired by 2000s pop,” she told NME, “but I prefer to make it sound a little more weird.” “I enjoy frightening things that are also quite pop.” I’m attempting to develop a Britney Spears-like persona for a Tim Burton picture.”
“I have great ideas,” she added. I’d like to perform live in front of a large crowd, but for now, it’s all about building this environment.”
