The song, “Fall Asleep in the Sunlight,” from Mt. Kili’s debut album Ten Songs for my Girls, for Now and Later, an ode to frontman Rock Sichta’s twin daughters,is a poignant ballad that serves as a gentle reminder to cherish the present moment.

A simple guitar strumming lays the foundation and creates a sense of intimacy, making us feel as though we are eavesdropping on a heartfelt conversation between a father and his daughters. Meanwhile, Sichta’s voice, thick, deep, and full of character, weaves a tale of childhood memories.
