Falling Into by Centershift: Review
Alternative rockers Centershift brings forth an aggressive track entitled โFalling Into.โ It comprises stellar guitar riffs and vocal sections which are melodically sound. The groupโs tone is a mix between Nu-metal from the early 2000s, and the instrumental themes from the alternative rock era still prominent today. As a youngin, this type of music was my go-to jam on a daily basis! I mean what other way was there to maintain my daily sanity through the onslaught of mundane life?
Centershift hail from Los Angeles and the band packs a solid punch with their gritty guitar segments. I was immensely impressed by the emotion behind each riff, and the tone! Simply magnificent work chaps, that has to be one of the cleanest distorted tones Iโve heard in a while. I must applaud the musical structure of โFalling Intoโ, it accompanies interesting chord progressions that have that familiar edgy tune from the Nu-Metal movement. As for the vocalist, his voice is incredibly crisp and serene. It brings forth the tension of metal legends such as Breaking Benjamin, and that in itself is something incredible.
Good people, is it just me, or are musical choruses one of the primal aspects of any good track? I donโt know about you, but Iโd have gone truly insane if a catchy chorus didnโt exist within any song! With that being said, the thrilling performance of โFalling Intoโ and its chorus bits excited me to the very core. It had just the right amount of balance and space to make it sound catchy. On top of that, the melodic cadence was energetic and the force simply amplified my senses.
