Filippo Noah release a new single ‘Corifeo’
Filippo Noah, a young multiinstrumentalist singersongwriter with a Blues spirit and a current Groove, has released his first musical work, Corifeo.
Filippo Siano aka Filippo Noah, born in the year 2000, is a boy of generation X, but with a Blues spirit and a Soul soul, free of the “traditional” demands of today’s music market “flooded” with filters and auto-tune.
The musical style is sophisticated, the sounds and arrangements are full of hints, and the words are personal references.
Filippo has a burning flame; he has something to say, that urge that an artist, if he wants to call himself such, has within himself and pushes him to express himself, to be himself and only himself, up to and including the listener touching the “inner strings.” Every now and then, I tell Filippo, “Follow the yellow brick road in front of you; you will see that it will bring you to Oz.” You have the option of doing or not doing something. You can choose one path over another.”
The counsel is to always try, never give up, and never allow people to “destroy” one’s aspirations. If you first believe it, then make a decision and follow YOUR yellow brick road, I am confident you will arrive in Oz. Choosing to travel and pursue an artistic route is a watershed moment for a young child since it exposes him “naked” in front of people who know him personally and, as Filippo has chosen, in front of the public. Filippo opts for a “true” path away from pre-packaged programs or market obligations; his study is genuine (as he says).
The desire to be oneself in music without having to wear a mask that does not belong to him. Filippo is 21 years old and a few months old; he is growing artistically by the day, he studies, and he does not waste time! He is a multi-instrumentalist who plays the piano, guitar, and violin, as well as singing and voice lessons. This cover was inspired by the desire to showcase Filippo Noah as he is; it is shown to the public without superstructures, without the responsibilities imposed by current fashion. Filippo Noah is in the center of the image, beneath a “Caravaggesque” light, surrounded by his choir, staring at the viewer in the room, in the first direct interaction between himself and others.
