Flatbush Jaywalk by Alec Berlin: Review
Hold your breath because the most infectious raunchy, shredding guitar-driven rock instrumental of the year, and arguably one of the best in this decade is here! ‘Flatbush Jaywalk’ by the incredible Alec Berlin from New York is out for you to stream and get mesmerized! As his guitar-driven arrangements thrash and leap throughout the song, it’s clear that he puts a lot of time and effort into them, all of which are created at his own home studio.
With credits to The Lion King, Green Day’s American Idiot, Rent from Broadway, and his performance in the Tony-winning Broadway musical ‘’Come From Away,’’ he’s largely popular and recognizable from his appearances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and many other TV shows. Many would say that his instrumentals are characterized by an intense sound that features countless unexpected turns.
Currently located in Brooklyn, the artist Alec is at the epitome of his music career with an unusual and significant resume spanning over two decades. After earning his Master of Music in Jazz Performance from Boston’s New England Conservatory, he relocated to the Big Apple and immediately started marking his territory to become renowned. Performing alongside big names such as Elton John, James Taylor, and Kenny Wheeler, Alec Berlin is one of a kind and is well-deserving of his name in the music industry.
