For Us by radikalhindu: Review
Jay Mehta leads the musical alias radikalhindu, he is originally from India, and was brought up in Wisconsin. “For Us” is a sensationally catchy track infused with EDM and the flavor of all that is smooth and chillin’ in the house genre.
The air is heavy with tension and as the fog clears up the powerful beats of “For Us” by radikalhindu arises. There’s a catchy essence to the track that manages to blend fantastic female vocal progressions with the rising vibe of the synths. Combine that with a fat bass line, and you’ve got yourselves a recipe for the ultimate dance-off. The song has a delicate balance between a good listening experience, and also a track to get you in the mood for a night out, or even the soundtrack for the outing location itself.
Feel-good music in the dance realm is all about the BPM and the instrumentation that carries out. But tag along with the right vocal accompaniment and you’ve got yourselves a true banger. In “For Us” the kick is all the same. In fact, it shall remind you of smoke machines, led lights, a hazy clubbing experience with a bunch of friends, and the idea of having a good time. The first half of the song feels like a greeting, the percussion is a little more mellow, and it’s like having a conversation with someone new. The second half of the track explodes into a fiery tempo, and at this point, things start to get a little more intimate with your partner.
