Freedom Fadeaway by Energy Whores: Review

Energy Whores return with another rebellious electro-pop anthem called “Freedom Fadeaway.” This profound musical act knows how to deliver bold lyricism and incredibly groovy rhythm sections. Hence, their music is a gateway for anyone to rejoice, especially because of the eye-opening narrative and liberating melodies that come along.

“Freedom Fadeaway” initiates with a synth piece and a beat that hypes you up. Eventually, a deep bassline enters and further escalates the aura of the track. This is what Energy Whores specialize in, which is their innate ability to create a resonant melody. In that regard, the next half of the track amps things up with a powerful synthesizer arpeggio and a discotheque guitar strummed to perfection. Once the electronic rave subsides and the strobe lights fade, we return to the thought-provoking verse once more. What I enjoyed about “Freedom Fadeaway” so far was the song’s ability to maintain various tempos and transitions. Going from gentle passages to more invigorating sections was splendid to hear. Thus, it moves to grasp the melodic aura of Energy Whores and their innate electronic outfit. Without a doubt, the synthwave beat drops were sensational, and I keep rewinding just to hear that segment once more.
