Dominick Raffaele’s “Game Over” kicks off like the start of a summer fling—fast, catchy, and a little bit dangerous. With hard-hitting drums and glimmering ambient melodies setting the scene, this track hits right away, pulling you into a whirlwind of heartbreak, sarcasm, and oh-so-relatable frustration. Dominick’s voice lands perfectly between polished and pissed-off, delivering punchy lyrics that feel tailor-made for late-night drives and angsty sing-alongs.
You can practically hear the influence of Justin Bieber and Kid Laroi pulsing through the production, but Dominick has got his own flavor. “Game Over” oozes with “I’m so done with this” energy as he croons, “I feel like it was game over before we started / I met you at your worst, you were broken-hearted / So hung up on your ex like you are in his songs.” If that doesn’t make you throw your hands up like, “YEP, been there,” then you were lucky you haven’t been through that.
The chorus is built for crowd chants for those of us done with being getting used for solace. “So back off. I am not your therapist,” lands like a mic drop in the middle of a breakup text you were too polite to send. It’s pop with bite, fun, catch, but laced with enough emotional ammo to shoot us in the right spot.
Recorded at Dream Recording Studio, “Game Over” sounds crisp, confident, and undeniably infectious. It lives rent-free in your head for days, not just because of its beat, but because of how damn real it feels. Dominick wanted to try something lighter than his usual ballads, and he nailed it—a pop banger that still cuts deep. If this is the beginning of his pop era, consider us all in. Game very much on.
