“Garden Tourist” is an EP from Craigology, a musical prodigy who was born to seep into your soul and give you a fantastic experience. So folks, let’s listen to this 6-piece album together and have a soul-mingling conversation about it shall we?
The Florida-based artist who has dabbled in jazz, reggae, and calypso production for over 25 years, captivates throughout the album with its throbbing beats and state-of-the-art melodies. From the easygoing ’70s nostalgia of opener “Evening Whispers” to the party-set rock rhythm of “Yellow Croton,” the release’s combination of jazz, techno, and pop sounds create an exhilarating feeling of escape. This reaches a bolstering atmosphere created by “Blue River” which has a carnival vibe throughout. “Guava Jelly” is another jazz elixir, captured with finesse over keyboards, and finally “At Anchor in English Harbour” with vigor and a dash of electronic sparkle.
This man right here is a master of many genres, a wholesome guy with a beautiful mantra in his heart for music “Music is not just playing notes or hearing sounds, but it is a way to connect with others and build meaningful relationships.” Intrigued yet? Pop in your earphones and get ready to groove because Craigology is about to raise the temperature, and get you all jazzed up with “Garden Tourist”!
