Gary Sohmers released blazing new song ‘Good Old Friend from Beasties Rock Opera’
Along with the publication of Book Of Grā, the first book in the series, ‘Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera Act One – Impulse’ was made available on all digital platforms. ‘Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera Act One – Impulse’ tells the first half of the story and is just the start of a pop culture work of art meant to save the planet and humanity from climate change and societal corporate corruption. It follows in the footsteps of other cult classics. ‘Act Two’ is currently being mixed for an April release.
A rock band finally has a hit record after years of touring, and they play a free concert in Central Park that draws a sizable crowd in the story ‘Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera’. However, the promoter secretly sold a sponsorship to dishonest politician Dick T. Raitor, who interrupts the performance in an effort to divert the audience’s attention. The protagonist, Grā, a stagehand and former singer, is affected by an extraterrestrial impulse that infuses him with a schizophrenic identity and special abilities in order to awaken humanity to their inner Beasties.
The main goal of ‘Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera’ is to help people learn how to control their negative “Beasties,” which are their negative energies and emotions. You can sing along to the songs in Gary Sohmers’ book, which is not only enjoyable but also leaves you with renewed hope in people.
