Space travel must be a wonderful voyage to experience. Even if most of us aren’t lucky enough to hop on that rocket wagon, you can rest assured that with the music of Monroe Moon, she’ll transport you to another wild planet with her tune “Glad To Exist”. It’s a wonderful Indie Pop number with perfect blends of synth, jazz, and cosmic energy all added together in a neat package.
The track has a prevalent organ-type synth arrangement which acts as the main rhythm. The bass line is also a fantastic sequence that puts forth that leading element, where without it the song would feel truly element. Monroe’s singing skills and her essence are truly magical. She truly knows how to write a song that is catchy, and fresh. “Glad To Exist” is a unique take on composition. Whether it’s the rhythmic background vocals, the overall space-like vibe, or the instrumentation, you’d feel at true peace with everything. Also, the song has a real hippie- 60s vibe going on. Far out, man. It’s just the mysterious psychedelic elements that make that genre come alive, brother. The second half of the song has some rock-like guitar solos and a symphonic background rhythm that adds a lot of flair and color.
Bunny Monroe and Theo Malkin are two delightful halves of Monroe Moon, they’re married, now ain’t that cute? Couples really can make music together, it’s that chemistry that makes the track glow even more! The track “Glad To Exist” arrived from a sparking inspiration amidst a meditation session. That’s deep, and sentimental too!
