GOOD by Onbar: Review
Onbar is the stage name of the California-born artist Troy Tuan Truong. He is sometimes referred to as โThe Vietnamese Princeโ, and his music demonstrates his irresistible charm. The most recent single to be added to his portfolio, GOOD, is an infectious tune that could convert you into a devoted fan.
The track is bold and attractive from the get-go, fusing elements of alternative soul and funk into a catchy pop melody. After a brief introduction of mainly percussion and synth chords, the bass and vocals quickly seize the stage and usher us into a joyful, carefree soundscape. The flow of the song exudes an air of a casual, relaxed and easygoing mannerism throughout. Onbar blends his catchy melodies with vocal sophistication to showcase his distinctive composition and craftsmanship, enabling the listeners to easily discern his sound from others. As he sings about making his way to approach a gorgeous lady at a bar, his caramel voice is such a charmer, walking the fine line between a gentleman and a womanizer. According to Onbar, the inspiration for this song was to make something that made him feel good and in hopes to make the listener feel it too.
He wrote the song in two days with the help of his two trusted collaborators, Patrick Hizon and Orion-Song. They clearly had a great time creating this track, and it shows in the final product. It is now available on all streaming platforms, so go ahead and check it out.
