Honest Kid by Dirty Slippers: Review
“Honest Kid” is a sensational pop-rock track by Dirty Slippers. They’re a band based in Budapest that will entice your soul with a resonating sound. Just when you think the industry is jaded with looped pop songs, out comes a fresh act such as Dirty Slippers ready to take the biz by storm and prove their talent with impeccable vocals and instrumental weight.
Pop rock is not a forgotten genre, but it has gone through ups and downs over the years. But right now, I believe that the genre is slowly moving towards an eager audience ready to appreciate its existence more. In that delightful regard, the music of Dirty Slippers arrives through a beautiful melody in “Honest Kid.” It’s an energetic piece with a singer who is expressive and shows plenty of grit in their vocals. Aside from that, the instrumental layers of guitar solos alongside soothing violin sections keep us warm and entertained. Furthermore, when you hear the tone of Dirty Slippers as a band and the accompanying rhythm, a click will go off in your head, followed by a dopamine surge. You won’t even predict its arrival, but I assure you that once “Honest Kid” gets into its groove, it’ll be there in a flash.
Dirty Slippers has made a strong impression, especially when the violins start playing. From its gripping intro to its satisfying conclusion, the instrument’s soul is felt, and it was pretty amazing, I gotta say!
