Illusion by Mad Painter: Review

Mad Painter have been active since 2015, having their sound firmly entrenched in the classic rock of the 1970s, drawing inspiration from everything from heavy melodic rock to vintage British rock & roll. Their band consists of Alex Gitlin & Gee Julie on vocals, Al Hendry on drums, Kenne Highland on bass guitar, and Al Naha on guitar. โIllusionโ- their latest release, brilliantly summarizes the depth of the bandโs musical talents. The songs they create have a lively sound and a full tone. The vocals, harmonies, and melodies in this track sound like they were meant to collide with each other. Their records are vibrant and involve joyful feelings that are conveyed through innovative musical elements.
The song starts with a kick drum and transitions into the keyboard, which sounds a lot like Deep Purple, and the vocals have real power in them. The choruses have a vibe of Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickenson quality in them, and the guitars have a beautiful arrangement and provide the songโs signature sound and feel to the mix, along with excellent vocal depth and quality. The voices are infused and balanced so well that it really helps the song stand out. The vocal harmonies and layers throughout the track are fantastic, too.
This track brought the full feel of 1970s rock with their awesome solo that will make you feel like youโre flying. The listeners will really appreciate this amazing track, especially those who are into deep rock and hard rock.
